STURDeCAM57_CUOAGX is a 5MP RGB-IR global shutter camera designed for next-generation driver monitoring systems and occupant monitoring systems. Built on the OMNIVISION® OX05B1S sensor, it features a RGB-IR CFA pattern that enables simultaneous capture of visible and infrared images—making it highly effective in both daytime and low-light conditions.
With 2.2µm pixel size and advanced NIR sensitivity, the camera ensures reliable detection of facial features, eye gaze, and driver behavior even in challenging lighting scenarios. The global shutter architecture eliminates motion artifacts, making it ideal for dynamic automotive environments.
The camera integrates a 940nm IR LED for consistent illumination in complete darkness, enabling accurate monitoring without external lighting. Its GMSL2 interface allows high-speed transmission of video, control data, and power over a single coaxial cable up to 15 meters, simplifying system design.
Housed in a rugged IP67-rated enclosure, this compact GMSL camera is built for durability and flexibility in automotive and industrial deployments. It is fully compatible with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin platform, making it ideal for AI-based edge vision applications such as Driver Monitoring System (DMS), Occupant Monitoring System (OMS), In-cabin Monitoring System, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), ANPR / ALPR, Biometrics & Access Control and Smart Agriculture.
