General Product Warranty Terms
   
  Terms and Conditions:
   
 
e-con Systems India Pvt. Ltd. (e-con) warrants this hardware product to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use for 180 (One hundred and eighty) days from the date of purchase, when used within the limits set forth in the Specifications of our Products and Development kits. e-con agrees under this warranty, to repair or replace it with a new or reconditioned product at no additional charge. Customers shall be held responsible for shipping and handling charges.
  Warranty Exclusion Rule:
 
 
  • Defects or damages due to improper maintenance, breakage, abuse, alteration or modification, damage to improper power supply.
  • Damages or burning caused by power fluctuations.
  • Damages and corrosion due to spilling of food/liquids or any other material.
  If the product proves defective during the warranty period, please email e-con Technical Support support  to report the same.
  In no event does e-con Systems warrants that the Software is error free or that Customer will be able to operate the Software without problems or interruptions. In addition, due to the continual development of new techniques for intruding upon and attacking networks, e-con does not warrant that the Software or any equipment, system or network on which the Software is used will be free of vulnerability to intrusion or attack.
  e-con will release upgraded firmware or software and share through Developer Portal to the customer, the customer can use this Product upgrade at no additional cost.
   
  Limited Liability:
  In no event shall e-con's liability exceed the price paid for the product from direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the product, its accompanying software, or its documentation. e-con makes no warranty or representation, expressed, implied, or statutory, with respect to its products or the contents or use of this documentation and all accompanying software, and specifically disclaims its quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness for any PARTICULAR purpose. e-con reserves the right to revise or update its products, software, or documentation without obligation to notify any individual or entity.
   
  You the customer acknowledge and agree that the application notes, reference designs and other such design materials supplied are provided as an example only and that you will exercise your own independent analysis and judgment in your use of these materials. e-con assumes no liability for your use of these materials or your product designs or any applications assistance provided by e-con.
   
  Except where this exclusion or restriction of liability would be void or ineffective under applicable statute or regulation, in no event shall e-con be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or savings) whether based on contract, tort or any other legal theory, even if e-con has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall e-con' liability under this agreement exceed the amount paid by you for the software giving rise to the claim. In the case where no amount was paid, e-con shall have no liability for any damages whatsoever.
