The see3CAM_37CUGM camera is unique due to its integration of the Sony Pregius S IMX900 monochrome sensor with on-camera HDR processing, offering 3MP resolution with exceptional image quality. It incorporates e-con systems' proprietary TintE™ ISP for advanced image processing and features Fast auto exposure, Quad HDR, and Quad shutter control. These capabilities make it particularly effective in demanding applications like barcode scanning, autonomous mobile robots, robotic arms and more.
The see3CAM_37CUGM camera utilizes Quad Shutter Mode to assign distinct exposure times to each pixel within 2x2 units, capturing up to four different intensity levels in a single scene. This approach enables the extraction of details from both dark and bright regions simultaneously. The captured image is then processed by the TintE ISP, which combines the data from these four pixels to produce a single High Dynamic Range (HDR) image with a resolution of 0.75 megapixels. The TintE ISP enhances this image by fusing exposures, reducing noise, and optimizing contrast, resulting in a high-quality HDR output.
