Why NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ NX?

The Jetson Xavier NX from NVIDIA brings the accelerated computing capabilities on the edge in a compact form factor. Providing 21 top computations, the Xavier NX achieves the performance of the powerful Jetson AGX Xavier in the size of the Nano module.

Comparable to AGX Xavier, the Xavier NX supports a dedicated CSI interface to connect up to 6 cameras enabling multi-camera solutions. The module also has multi-stream video encoding capabilities enabling recording applications.

The Xavier NX is designed to process and run neural networks on multiple camera sensor data in parallel enabling complete AI systems. NVIDA’s extensive AI SDK eco-system is available for the platform of rapid development. In effect, the Xavier NX platform provides equivalent performance of AGX Xavier at a lower cost and smaller size enabling compact and cost-effective edge AI solutions.

Why e-CAM50_CUNX?

The camera-based on On-Semi AR0521 sensor utilizes the MIPI CSI-2 interface of the Xavier NX for image capture at reliable frame rates. The in-built ISP in the camera enhances the image quality making it ideal for next-generation AI devices.
