	Introduction
	e-WiB is e-con Systems� new ready to use Wi-Fi Bluetooth Add-on module based on Marvell 88W8688 (Marvell 8688) that provides full function of 802.11b/g and Bluetooth class 2.1 EDR. e-WiB is multi- functional, board to board physical interface providing SDIO/SPI interface for Wi-Fi and UART/SDIO interface for Bluetooth.

	The module is designed as single antenna for WiFi and Bluetooth

	The small size and low profile physical design makes it easier for system design to enable high performance wireless connectivity without space constrain. The low power consumption and excellent radio performance makes it the best solution for OEM customers who require embedded 802.11g WiFi + Bluetooth features, such as, Wireless PDA, slim type Notebook, VoIP phone etc.

Customers interested in e-WiB – WiFi + Bluetooth module can evaluate the same using e-con’s readily available Alioth - PXA300 reference design. e-con provides Windows CE 6.0 R3 Device drivers for e-WiB along with the Alioth platform.

PXA300 reference platform features a carrier board around the eSOM300 - Computer on Module and has all the peripherals supported by eSOM300 exposed through various connectors.
