The e-CAM52_35x is a 5MP camera daughter board for OMAP / AM37x / DM37x processors from Texas Instruments. This Camera daughter board is an add-on module that houses a 5 Megapixel camera sensor OV5640 with autofocus features.

This autofocus camera module has an 8 bit interface for YUV capture and 10 bit interface for raw capture. e-con Systems also provides Linux, Windows CE and Android camera drivers and sample applications for these camera daughter boards

The 5 Mega pixel camera daughter card has a 26 pin connector which plugs in to both TI’s OMAP3530 EVM board and the DM3730 EVM board. The 26 pins feature the camera data bus and the mandatory camera signals like HSYNC, VSYNC etc. Logically, this e-CAM52_35x camera board connects to the high speed CMOS sensor interface of the TI OMAP35x/AM/DM37x. .
