e-con Systems has launched STURDeCAM57, a 5MP global shutter RGB-IR GMSL2 camera built to deliver reliable imaging for driver monitoring systems (DMS) and occupant monitoring systems (OMS) from day to night. This new RGB-IR camera is based on the industrial-grade image sensor. It is optimized for seamless integration with leading platforms, including NVIDIA® Jetson™.
STURDeCAM57 features an on-board Image Signal Processor (ISP), fine-tuned by e-con Systems, that performs simultaneous RGB-IR processing directly within the camera. This reduces dependency on host-side processing and enables efficient AI inference on platforms such as NVIDIA® Jetson™.

- Rugged and Deployment-Ready: IP67-rated enclosure with support for up to 15m GMSL2 connectivity ensures reliable operation in demanding environments.
- Flexible Platform Support: Compatible with NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin, Orin NX, and Orin Nano, and supports evaluation with e-con Systems AI Compute Box – Darsi PRO —accelerating development and time-to-market.
The camera can be customized to support 850 nm IR illumination, different lens options, flexible enclosure and mounting configurations to meet specific application requirements.
