Capella is e-con Systems camera powered reference design to meet the requirement for an industrial handheld data Logger, for capturing information on the floor/on the move and transfer the information to a central server using Wi-Fi or using wired interface.

Running with Windows CE 5.0, powered by battery, having appropriate form factor for a handheld, Capella is suitable for industrial and consumer application where in information has to logged in and later can be transferred to another PC or server using Wi-Fi connectivity.Data can be read from industrial controllers through Zigbee and transmitted to the central server via Wi-Fi.

Additionally there is a camera which can be used to capture pictures, stream Video to the central server. A typical example of this could be that an insurance agent wants to stream the video of the car to his authority in the office for damage claims.
